NEET UG 2023 Postponement: Amidst the closure of registration for NEET UG 2023 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 15, there is a growing demand from students on social media platforms to postpone the undergraduate medical entrance examination by at least a month. With over 21 lakh candidates expected to appear for the exam, students are citing extreme pressure due to state board exams and the spike in COVID cases in India.
NEET UG 2023 Exam Date:
The NEET UG 2023 exam has been scheduled to be held on May 7, 2023, across 499 cities in India and abroad in Pen and Paper mode (offline). However, there is a call for postponing the exam by a month or two, as students express their concerns about coping with multiple exams and the prevailing pandemic situation.
NEET UG 2023 Admit Card Release Date:
As per past trends, NTA is expected to release the NEET UG admit card 15-20 days before the exam. Candidates can anticipate the release of the exam city slip this week and download the hall tickets from the official website neet.nta.nic.in, though an official confirmation is awaited.

NEET UG 2023 Exam Pattern:
The NEET UG 2023 exam paper will consist of two sections in each subject – Section A with 35 questions and Section B with 15 questions, out of which candidates can choose to attempt any 10 questions. The total number of questions and time utilization will remain the same, and candidates need to be well-versed with the exam pattern to effectively manage their time during the examination.
